A sequel to Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is slated to come out for the Wii along with remakes of two Gamecube RE games: Resident Evil Zero and the remake of the original Resident Evil which fans like to call REmake. The Darkside Chronicles of course will still be an on-rails shooter like the first one but now it features Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield as protagonists to show a different angle on what happened on their side of the story. The game is to be released at winter time this year so it is still a long ways yet but RE fans won't be disappointed as Resident Evil 5 was just released. Dead Space borrowed the essential parts of the much appreciated series and from there refined some points for innovation. Copying somebody's work and then working on enhancements is never a bad thing as the game's producer said, than creating a totally new game with too much innovation that players tend to get lost. It's the way to incorporate the good things from the past to the continuous enhancement of the future.
